Sunglasses Aren’t Just for Summer

Yay! The long weekend has finally come!

J and I are in NYC for the weekend, his first trip, can you believe it?! We are going to do allll the NYC touristy things.

Central Park, Bryant Park, The Highline, The Freedom Tower, Times Square, Empire State Building….woo….out of breath.

So many damn things to see and EAT in this city!

You know I am about the food this weekend.

Love me a good meal.

If you have any good city suggestions on what to see or eat, leave me a comment below!

So I wanted to share with you some Labor Day looks for the weekend, however…I failed on the outfit front. I had ordered a few fab dresses to carry me into the weekend, but I got notice a few days ago that they were going to be late.

POO.

Yeah.

SO, I recently teamed up with Sunglass Warehouse for their new #getoutthere campaign.

What I love about this campaign is the promotion of movement by literally telling people to GET OUT THERE, and do something! Also, ALL their glasses are under $15!

LIVE in your sunnies, I mean, I know I do.

With the summer coming to an end it doesn’t mean you have to hide those frames.

When I lived in San Diego the necessity for sunglasses was V much. Even when the sun wasn’t out there was always some type of glare…overcast and glare got me like glasses, now, PLEASE.

Thankfully the summer has been beautiful here in Boston so I got a lot of good use out of my sunglasses.

I am hoping to test out my oh so cool level this winter by rocking my shades in the snow. Hello, the sun reflects off the snow. NEED.

These are a few of my fave sunglasses that can be styled with just about anything.

The best part about accessorizing sunglasses is that they don’t need to match any type of clothing or jewelry on your body. All you need is the C O N F I D E N C E to rock them.

You got this girl!

Check out these: Dolorosa with Gold Frames and a Blue/Yellow Gradient.

So chic! I love the thin frame on these and how light they are. They remind me of a modernized aviator. Ya, know?

Also, these: Avery in Light Pink Frame with Gold Mirrored Lenses.

These are all types of yes. Think Studio 54, fur, Farrah Fawcett.

These sunglasses are my absolute babies!

The Burberry BE4216, Cat Eye and Acetate frame in Brown and Brown.

I legit feel like a sexy bond girl in these glasses and I LOVE that they don’t cover my brows.

(My brows are thick, bushy, brows, and I like it!)

I used to part of a club called, Stunner of The Month, where I received a pair of new sunglasses every month…but now I am not. I need to get back to a fun subscription club like that.

Suggestions?

What are some of your fave shades?
