If you are following me on Instagram you know that I have been super obsessed with quotes lately.
If you aren’t following me on Instagram, @sweetandmasala, you should be 🙂
Had to throw that in.
So, yeah, obsessed with quotes!
I find that there is pretty much a quote for any situation/place/thing….the relevance is on point and sometimes quite humorous.
Over the past few months I have been sharing my passion of spices with you all; their benefits, different ways to use them, health and beauty traits and how they are an integral part of many people’s daily lives, whether they know it or not. That is why I thought it would be super fun to highlight some of my favorite quotes about spices!
These quotes transcend the notion of just “spices” solely for food and can relate to multiple facets of life.
Doing the same thing all the time is B O R I N G. Change up your routine, try something outside the box and more importantly, stay true to yourself. What’s life without a little fun?
This describes me to a T. You can’t always make everyone happy. You can’t always be the woman people want you to be. Take your flaws, embrace them, and learn from them. Be moved and inspired by the type of person you truly are.
Sometimes I am guilty of saying too much and putting my foot in my mouth. One thing that has been a continuous opportunity for growth for me is to “think before I speak.” During this holiday I encourage you all to do the same. This is the time of year that you see people you rarely get to see. This is also the time of year for people to be on edge because of those people.
When I prepare a dish I think about all the varieties of spices I would like to use. What blends well together. Take this philosophy and apply it to the words you choose to use when speaking to others. Never be fake. Stay genuine and pick wisely.
People don’t usually think of erotica when talking about Indian food, that is why I am so happy that I found this quote! What is sexier than something that is warming, tastes good and brightens up our mouth and brings heat to your body?
Yes please.
Indian food is my favorite food. Not just because I am Indian and not just because it’s spicy. A level of thoughtfulness goes into each dish; the way it is prepared, the ingredients that are used. A harmony of spices, all so different and assertive in their own way. It’s remarkable.
