Ciao, Ciao.
Quite obviously still feeling the Italy vibes.
What are the weekend plans? J and I are having dinner with our friends Erin and Brett on Saturday…besides that I think we will keep this weekend nice and relaxed.
As promised, I wanted to share with you some of my Italy outfit M O M E N T S.
So, first off. I was under the impression that everyone in Italy would be dressed up all the time!
You know, heels, dresses, makeup, hair…this was not the case.
I was pretty shocked.
It actually ended up being a good thing because I was constantly hot and sweaty wherever we went.
I kept my makeup minimal and my outfit choices comfy, practical and BREEZY.
One of my favorite dresses was this cold shoulder, Desert Dance Billabong piece.
I love the boho vibe of it and how it falls around the shoulders and bust area.
It was long, so it kept my legs protected, and the looseness of the dress made me feel like a free bird under the sun.
You know that Italy couldn’t be done without a blue and white dress. Julia (my travel partner) came well prepared with a plethora of blue and white dresses, while I opted for this tie-dye midi dress from Lulu’s.
The slit was a little risqué when sitting down, but it was comfortable which is KEY.
I fell in love with this chambray skirt…it was floor length and paired perfectly with a plain white tank and a brown belt to tie it all together.
Although I ordered an extra small, the sizes ran pretty big so the belt work fabulously with it. I wore it to the Vatican with a sheer lace jacket to cover those arms!
On days that we did outside tours My Old Navy linen pants definitely came in handy. They kept me fully clothed (and protected…you know I like that SHADE) without weighing me down. Super light, super breathable.
On Instagram, last week I posted a pic of my anklet that I wore on repeat and got a lot of questions as to where I bought it.
WELL.
I bought them in India a few years ago and they are one of my favorite summertime accessories.
A statement anklet can help dress up any causal, low-key sundress without doing much.
I kept my jewelry minimalistic during the trip because I hate the feeling of something being stuck/sticky on your body when you are hot.
It’s the worst.
Anyways, that’s the rundown on Italy outfits and the end of my Italy journey with all of you!
I hope you enjoyed all the posts as much as I enjoyed writing them!
Where should the next trip be now!?
Xx
