My Fall Fashion Wishlist

Happy First Day of Fall! 

Made it to the end of another week! HAYYYYYYYY.

The week exhausted me for some reason. Ever have one of those weeks? Yeah, week, not days. Just me?

Oh well.

ANYWAYS.

With the weather starting to turn crisp it’s time to change up that wardrobe!

When I first moved to San Diego from Boston I had to switch up my whole wardrobe and move to flip flops and t-shirts, but now, that’s all I have!

I have no appropriate attire for the rain or snow. I don’t even own an umbrella! It’s bad. I took to stealing Justin’s jacket over the last weeks Jose downpour. Oops. I like men’s clothes better anyways. Make me feel small and secure!

Here are a few of my fave fall fashion trends (and items I want in my closet ASAP).

Nylon Coat:

I am super into the New England chic, long drench coat vibes. This year at Fashion Week it was all about the Nylon.

I am obsessed with this Long, Hooded, Neon Yellow Jacket by Eileen Fisher.

It is totally practical for this Boston vibe. It reminds me of Paddington Bear only yellow. The color, the length. PLUS it is waterproof and perfect for the rain while looking sleek and sexy.

My favorite part is the drawstring waist! I love a little waist cinch every now and then.

Boots:

Do boots ever go out of style? I think NOT. I have a crush on all shoes Sam Edelman but they are so damn pricey!

Luckily, Zappos has some last season, but affordable Edelman’s. Honestly, IDGAF if they are last season. I highly doubt people are walking around judging my shoes and if they are. SCREW them. I will gladly take my discounted boots and go on my happy way!

I love over the knee boots but they are a little much for everyday use. That’s why these Penny’s are perfect. They come mid-calf and have a stacked heel, which is great for day to night use.

Leggings:

My fall not so guilty pleasure…ok, that’s a lie…my all year round not so guilty pleasure HAS to be leggings. Honestly, I would wear them for every occasion if I could. You feel me?

To be free and comfy all the time! What a win that would be. Unfortunately we are women and that just isn’t going to happen.

Womp.

This year Zara is in it to win it with the legging game. They have so many fun prints, colors and textures that take your everyday, not so chic, piece of clothing, to a whole other level.

I’ll take one of everything please!

Sweaters:

Chunky knits and Cardigans are back in like Cher’s closet. LIKE HARD. Not mad about.

You can pair these babies with a light cami underneath and jeans, skirt, or leggings on top! How else am I going to keep myself warm this fall?

I especially love the sweaters and cardigans that have that extra layer of soft plush fabric on the outside. It’s an unexpected surprise when you brush up on someone else.

I can’t wait to start filling my closet with all these fall goodies!
