Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner?!?!
I have legit been BUGGIN.
This year went by so fast.
Christmas has this amazing energy that I wish would carry over all year long.
I guess having it once a year makes is special in that way, but, I mean…Christmas cookies and decorations.
What can be better?!
OBVI, I’ve been baking up a storm! Cookies make such a nice gift for co-workers, friends and family. It shows a level of thoughtfulness + they are homemade and you don’t have to break the bank to make them.
One of the easiest gifts to make is a hot chocolate set.
I usually mosey down to the Christmas Tree Shop or Michaels, buy a few Christmas mugs (they are usually less than $4!), fill the mugs with hot chocolate packets, a few freshly bakes cookies (check out my gingerbread recipe here), and yummy hot chocolate spoons.
Hot chocolate spoons take like 5 seconds to make, but look like you put in a lot of effort. You can use pretty much any candy topping you can think of and can play with around with different flavors of chocolate or use peanut butter or butterscotch.
Just dip a spoon into some chocolate, top it with candy, let it dry and swirl into your hot chocolate for an extra burst of flavor.
Happy Holidays ya’ll!
Xx

I would love to make my own Hot Chocolate Spoons. Will be following the steps in this recipe.
I didn’t know that Michaels had this kind of a set. It’s really kind of cool. I usually get one for my daughter every year. I will have to try to find it.
